Borderlands Outfitters offers premier quail and dove hunts across thousands of acres of historic Texas brushland near the US-Mexico border. Owner Marco Castillo and his family have ranched and guided this region for over 20 years. Their properties host legendary populations of bobwhite quail — a species in sharp decline elsewhere but thriving here under their habitat management program. Over-under and side-by-side shotgun hunts over trained pointing dogs provide a classic upland experience. Dove hunts run August through October with massive field concentrations.
